Meet Tania Prado: Your Trusted Attorney
Hi, I’m Tania Prado, a special education attorney serving families across California. I started practicing special education law in 2020 after beginning my legal career in corporate civil litigation in the Bay Area. I earned my law degree from UC Law San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings) and my bachelor’s from Cornell University.
My passion lies in advocating for children who are too often overlooked or misunderstood by the education system. I grew up in the Central Valley and saw close friends and family members slip through the cracks. I also saw how transformative the right support and services could be when schools got it right. Those experiences led me to this work—and to making it my mission to help families access the education their children deserve.
I know that by the time most parents or guardians reach out to me, they’ve already spent months—sometimes years—trying to work with their school district, only to feel unheard, dismissed, or defeated. That’s where I come in. I guide families through the legal process with knowledge, empathy, and a deep commitment to helping their voices be heard.
Together, we fight for the placements, services, and accommodations that can make a real difference in a child’s life.
